Responsible Gambling
at GoJudi

Gambling is entertainment. At GoJudi, we believe it should stay that way. This page outlines our commitment to responsible gambling, the practical tools we provide to every Malaysian member, and the professional support resources available to anyone who feels their gambling may be moving beyond enjoyment.

21+ Only Deposit Limits Available Self-Exclusion Available
21+
Strictly Adults Only — Age 21 and Above

GoJudi is an adults-only platform. You must be at least 21 years of age to register, deposit, or place any wager on GoJudi. We enforce this requirement through mandatory age verification as part of our KYC process. Underage gambling is illegal and harmful — we take this responsibility seriously every single day.

GoJudi was built with Malaysian players in mind — and that means we think about more than just games and payouts. It means we think about our members as people. The vast majority of players who enjoy GoJudi do so safely, treating it for exactly what it is: entertainment. But we also know that for a small number of people, gambling can become a problem. This page exists for them.

Whether you are a player in Kuala Lumpur who wants to set a weekly spending cap, a member in Penang who needs a break from the platform for a few months, or someone in Johor Bahru who is genuinely concerned about their gambling habits — GoJudi provides practical, accessible tools and honest guidance to help you stay in control.

If you have a concern about your gambling right now, you do not need to read this entire page. Scroll down to the Support Resources section and reach out to one of the organisations listed there. Help is available, and seeking it is a sign of strength.

Tools GoJudi Provides to Keep You in Control

Every GoJudi member has access to the following responsible gambling tools, available directly from their account settings or through our support team at any time.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum daily, weekly, or monthly deposit cap on your GoJudi account. Limits take effect immediately when reduced. If you choose to increase a limit, a 24-hour cooling-off period applies before the increase is activated — giving you time to reconsider. Suggested starting point for casual play: RM200–RM500 per week.

Self-Exclusion

If you need to take a break from gambling altogether, GoJudi's self-exclusion tool lets you lock your account for a set period — from 30 days up to permanent closure. During an exclusion period, GoJudi will use all reasonable technical measures to prevent you from accessing the platform. To request self-exclusion, contact our support team immediately.

Session Time Reminders

Enable on-screen reminders that notify you when you have been playing for a set duration — for example, 30, 60, or 90 minutes. Time can pass quickly during an engaging gaming session, and session reminders help you stay aware of how long you have been playing. These can be configured in your account settings at any time.

Cool-Off Period

Not ready for full self-exclusion but need a short pause? A cool-off period temporarily restricts access to your GoJudi account for 24 hours, 48 hours, or up to 7 days. During this period, you will not be able to deposit or place wagers. This is a useful intermediate step if you feel your gambling has been more frequent than you intended.

Account Activity Review

GoJudi members can view their full deposit, withdrawal, and wagering history at any time through the account dashboard. Reviewing this data regularly is one of the most effective ways to maintain honest awareness of your gambling spending. If the numbers surprise you, that is useful information — and a good prompt to consider setting a deposit limit.

Marketing Opt-Out

If you have decided to reduce your gambling or are managing a gambling concern, you can opt out of all GoJudi promotional communications — including bonus offers, reload promotions, and special event notifications — at any time. Simply contact our support team or update your notification preferences in account settings. Your decision will be respected immediately.

Recognising Problem Gambling

Problem gambling rarely announces itself clearly. It tends to develop gradually, and many people do not recognise the pattern until it has already caused significant financial or personal harm. Below are common warning signs to be aware of — both in yourself and in people close to you.

If any of the following statements feel familiar, please take them seriously. They do not mean you have a gambling addiction — but they do suggest that a conversation with a professional, or at minimum an honest review of your gambling habits, may be worthwhile.

If you recognise yourself in several of these signs, please reach out for support. The organisations listed on this page offer free, confidential guidance. You do not need to be at a crisis point to ask for help.

Spending more money on gambling than you originally intended, on a regular basis.

Chasing losses — continuing to gamble in an attempt to recover money you have already lost.

Gambling with money that was set aside for essential expenses such as rent, bills, food, or transport.

Lying to family members or friends about how much time or money you spend gambling.

Feeling restless, anxious, or irritable when trying to cut back or stop gambling.

Borrowing money, selling possessions, or taking on debt to fund gambling activity.

Gambling interfering with work performance, studies, family responsibilities, or important relationships.

Spending increasing amounts of time thinking about gambling — past wins, upcoming bets, or how to get more money to gamble with.

Feeling the need to gamble with larger and larger amounts to experience the same level of excitement.

Using gambling as a way to escape from stress, anxiety, depression, or personal problems.

A Quick Self-Check

Answer these questions honestly — they are for your own reflection only. No data is submitted or stored.

1 In the last month, have you spent more money gambling than you planned to?
2 Have you ever chased a loss — kept playing to try to win back money you had already lost?
3 Have you ever gambled with money you needed for something else, such as bills, food, or family expenses?
4 Has anyone close to you expressed concern about your gambling — a partner, parent, sibling, or friend?
5 Do you find it difficult to stop gambling once you have started a session, even if you told yourself you would stop at a certain point?
6 Have you ever felt guilty, ashamed, or anxious about your gambling after the fact?
7 Have you borrowed money or sold anything to fund a gambling session?
8 Do you think about gambling frequently when you are not playing — planning future bets, replaying past sessions, or looking for opportunities to play?
How to interpret your answers: If you answered "yes" to one or two of these questions, it is worth setting a deposit limit and monitoring your play more carefully. If you answered "yes" to three or more, we strongly encourage you to take a break using GoJudi's cool-off or self-exclusion tool, and to contact one of the support organisations listed below. Honest self-reflection is the first step — and it takes courage.

Tips for Keeping Gambling Enjoyable

Most players manage their gambling without issues. These habits are what responsible, enjoyable gambling typically looks like in practice.

Set a Budget Before You Play

Decide on a maximum amount you are comfortable losing before each session — and treat it as an entertainment cost, not an investment. Once that budget is gone, the session is over.

Set a Time Limit

Decide how long you will play before you start — and use GoJudi's session reminder feature to keep track. Taking regular breaks is good for decision-making and keeps the experience fresh.

Play for Fun, Not Profit

Gambling is entertainment, not a reliable income source. If you find yourself gambling primarily to make money — rather than for the enjoyment of the game itself — that is worth reflecting on.

Never Chase Losses

Chasing a loss by increasing your next bet is one of the most common patterns that leads to problem gambling. Accept that losses are a normal part of gambling and step away when your session budget is used.

Avoid Gambling Under Stress

Gambling when you are stressed, upset, or under financial pressure increases the risk of poor decisions. If you've had a difficult day, consider a different activity before logging in to GoJudi.

Take Breaks from the Platform

Planned breaks — even just a few days away from the platform each month — are a healthy habit. GoJudi's cool-off period feature makes it easy to build in structured pauses without requiring full self-exclusion.

GoJudi's Responsible Gambling Policy

The following sets out GoJudi's formal commitments and procedures with respect to responsible gambling. This policy applies to all GoJudi members and governs how our team operates in this area.

Age Verification & Under-21 Protection

GoJudi enforces a strict minimum age requirement of 21 years for all account holders. Age verification is a mandatory step in the KYC process — no withdrawal will be processed from any account that has not completed age verification with a valid government-issued identity document.

Accounts found to belong to individuals under 21 years of age will be permanently closed and all associated balances forfeited, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions. GoJudi also strongly encourages parents and guardians to make use of parental control tools available on shared devices to prevent underage access to online gaming platforms.

If you suspect that someone under 21 is using a GoJudi account, please contact our support team immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate and take action without delay.

Self-Exclusion Procedure

Any GoJudi member may request self-exclusion at any time. Self-exclusion is available for the following durations: 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, 12 months, or permanent (indefinite) closure.

To initiate self-exclusion, contact GoJudi's support team via live chat or email. Your request will be processed immediately upon receipt, without any cooling-off delay. During an active self-exclusion period:

  • Deposits to the account will be blocked;
  • Promotional communications will be suspended;
  • Access to games and betting markets will be restricted;
  • Any remaining balance in the account will be held securely and made available for withdrawal upon identity verification.

GoJudi will use all reasonable technical measures to enforce self-exclusion. Members who have self-excluded should also consider contacting other gambling platforms they use, and registering with national self-exclusion schemes where available.

Reactivation after self-exclusion: Requests to reactivate an account after a self-exclusion period are subject to a mandatory review process. For exclusions of 6 months or more, reactivation requires a cooling-off period and, where appropriate, evidence that the member has sought support from a gambling counselling service.

Responsible Gambling Monitoring

GoJudi's operations team monitors platform usage for behavioural patterns that may indicate problem gambling. Indicators include but are not limited to: rapid escalation in deposit frequency or amounts, extended uninterrupted gaming sessions, high-frequency loss-chasing patterns, and sudden changes in playing behaviour following a significant win or loss.

Where such patterns are identified, GoJudi may proactively contact the member with responsible gambling information, offer to activate deposit limits or cool-off periods on the member's behalf, or in more serious cases, apply a temporary restriction on the account pending a welfare check.

GoJudi will never use a member's gambling behavioural data for marketing optimisation in a way that exploits vulnerability. Responsible gambling monitoring exists solely for the protection of our members.

Staff Training & Platform Obligations

All GoJudi customer-facing support staff receive responsible gambling training as part of their onboarding process. This training covers how to identify signs of problem gambling in customer interactions, how to communicate sensitively about the issue, how to activate responsible gambling tools on a member's account, and how to direct members to appropriate external support resources.

GoJudi does not permit its marketing or promotional communications to:

  • Target individuals who are minors or who appear to be under 21;
  • Be directed at individuals who are on the platform's self-excluded list;
  • Imply that gambling is a route to financial stability or a solution to financial difficulties;
  • Encourage members to chase losses or increase their deposit amounts.
